Collection of Information | What Personal Data we collect
We collect personally identifiable information when voluntarily submitted by our visitors/customers by creating an account with us:
- gender
- first and last name
- postal address (up to 5)
- email address
- phone number
- tax number or VAT number
The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request that in Kinderklipz case would be shipping your order and inform you about your order status. A print copy of your purchase invoice placed in our shop is stored for tax purpose (shipping, invoice data and purchase items and value) and in case we need to contact postal services to fill a claim for non-delivery packages. This information is kept secure in our office.
To ship your order we use of our partners: CTT - Correios de Portugal, CTT Expresso, Chronopost/DPD or FedEx, depending of the shipping method that you chose when placing your order.
Updating Personal Information | Deleting Personal Information
You have the right regarding to your information, such as: (i) data access and portability (including the right to obtain a copy of your personal data you provided to Kinderklipz, via your personal account); (ii) data correction (including the ability to update your personal data, in many cases via your personal account; (iii) data deletion (including the right to have Kinderklipz delete your personal information, except information we are required to retain, by contacting us); and (iv) withdrawal of consent or objection to processing (including, in limited circumstances, the right to ask Kinderklipz to stop processing your personal data, with some exceptions, by contacting us).
Newsletter | Mailing List
You can subscribe to our newsletter directly on our homepage or when you register for a personal account and for this, you receive notice of and agree to receive marketing emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time from marketing emails through the opt-out link included in marketing emails or by login in your Kinderklipz's personal account.
We use MailChimp to collect and manage all our newsletter subscribers besides our website. Mailchimp provides us information if our newsletter emails were open or not and other monitoring stats - Mailchimp Privacy Policy.
Cookies Policy | Tracking Technology
Kinderklipz uses “cookies” (small text files sent by your computer each time you visit our website, unique to your Kinderklipz account or your browser) or similar technologies to capture log data. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology, however, if you previously provided personally identifiable information, cookies may be tied to such information. Cookies can also help customize the site for visitors, like language and personal login. This (that last until you close your browser) or persistent cookies (that last until you or your browser delete them). For example, we use cookies to store your language preferences or other settings so you don‘t have to set them up every time you visit Kinderklipz.
Cookies are just one way to protect you from security risks. For example, we use them to detect when someone attempts to illegally access your Kinderklipz account.
We also gather information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the site, and understanding how visitors use the site. Or if you contact us using our Contact Form.
Aggregate tracking information may be shared or monitoring by Google Analytics for statistic purpose and Tawk.to (our chat app). We also use Facebook Analytics, Instagram Analytics, and Pinterest Analytics.
If the user chooses to automatically save is login information (login name and password) this information is encrypted storage for 6 months.
Log Data
When you use Kinderklipz our server record information (“log data”), including information that your browser automatically sends whenever you visit a website, or that your mobile app automatically sends when you’re using it. This log data includes your Internet Protocol address (IP that will be changed in your next login), searches, browser type and settings, the date and time of your request cookie data and device data. Most of this information is deleted after you logout or in case of inactivity after 30 minutes.
Distribution of Information
We may share information with governmental agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place. The information is not provided to these companies or any other companies for marketing purposes.
Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. We rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer. Google Analytics, Tawk.to Facebook Analytics, Instagram Analytics and Pinterest Analytics are US based apps and tools that we use.
Data Security and Commitment
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. We work with a reliable partner (Braldesign) to assure that our website, backoffice manager, passwords and all our customer personal information is secure with SLL Certificate, Secure Linux Server with Virus Scanner and daily Backups and updated Firewall and Antivirus.
Payment Information
Paypal manages all transaction made with credit and debit cards and Paypal to Paypal payments. You can read Paypal's Privacy Policy here. No credit card or debit card information is shared with Kinderklipz only your Paypal registered name and address when available.
Payments made by Wire Transfer/Bank Transfer may share the account name and IBAN in some cases.
